Yesterday, I finally finished the book Dune!
For months, some people have been telling me how great this book was. However, I didn’t really get time to read it seriously until this summer, or at least it was because I was really bored.
Anyway, the book was great! It is a science fiction novel, and I love science fiction, so it was definitely fitting. I found myself captivated by it.
The nice thing about Dune is that there wasn’t really anything that was unbelievable. That is, though many things were beyond anything we can do or have today, it is definitely within the realm of belief, which I think gives the novel more of a personal feeling.
It does have 5 sequels, but I don’t know whether I will read these others or not. It doesn’t seem that they are as popular. A few of them do sound interesting, though.
